The Dartmouth Club of Greater San Francisco (DCGSF) was formed to serve the more than 3,600 alums living within a 45-minute drive of San Francisco.
The Dartmouth Club of Greater San Francisco seeks to strengthen ties with local alumni and its community, and to actively support and promote the mission of Dartmouth College. These goals are accomplish in the following ways:
- Hosting social, cultural, educational, and charitable events, both in and around San Francisco's Bay Area, for all the DCGSF constituents,
- Coordinating specific events for young alumni, parents, seniors, or graduate student members,
- Supporting the Office of Admissions, in conjunction with local District Enrollment Directors, through alumni admissions interviews, Book Award programs, and social recruiting events,
- Facilitating communication between and among all alumni groups (including all regional, affiliated, and professional alumni organizations) in the northern California and Nevada areas,
- Providing mentoring opportunities and resource sharing between local alumni organizations,
- Acting as a primary conduit between Alumni Relations and the local alumni base, and
- And much, much more!
LEADERSHIP
The DCGSF Board of Directors meets regularly in downtown San Francisco. All DCGSF members are encouraged to attend, learn about the Board and its committees, and get involved. Meeting dates and times are posted on the Events page, and in each Club newsletter. The DCGSF Board consists of a 13-member Board of Directors - four of whom serve in an executive capacity known as Officers - and numerous committee chairpersons. Leadership elections and appointments are held each winter at the Annual Meeting, and are open to all paid members of the DCGSF community, including spouses/partners and parents. Officers and Directors are elected to two-year terms. Committee Chairpersons are appointment for one-year terms. The current Club leaders are:

DCGSF MEETINGS
The Board of Directors meets quarterly in downtown San Francisco. Please join the Board to discuss and plan upcoming events and address Club business. Meetings are held at the offices of:

COMMUNICATIONS
The DCGSF regularly sends e-newsletters and event updates to all alumni in the listserv. The listserv is set up such that managing a subscription is easy. Simply following these directions:
